The fourth poetry installment, as much as it is a play on words, also depicts the ocean’s beauty despite the disturbances caused by marine pollution. Its concise form characterises the fleeting nature of a shellshocked environment, like ours.
Blue wraps around pure white,
motionless, passing time,
as waves thrash across the skyline.
A beating heart nestled in a blue glove,
purity concealed beneath our feet.
Tainted by a drop of convenience,
then coated by pure love.
